A hiker had an unusual run-in with a wild animal in southern Arizona this past weekend.
According to the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to investigate a wild animal attack in Ash Canyon, south of Sierra Vista, on Sunday. The man reported that he was hiking in the area and returned to his car, only to find a coatimundi on the hood of his vehicle.
